Recently I found an older video of Sophie, performing the Bob Dylan song Most of the Time. Sophie performed the song on the Polar Music Prize Ceremony back in 2000. Bob Dylan recieved the prize that year. The version of Sophie was also recorded and put on the single Happier Man, wich was also released in 2000.

At the official website of Sophie ( a new album and new tour is announced. The album will be called Sunrise. The is not yet a release date or tracklist for the album.

On the day Sophie celebrated her 45th birthday, on the 12th of February, her official website released news about her next album. The new album will be released on 3rd of March 2017. Also the tracklist was announced. The album will contain a total of 10 new tracks:

  7. No Victims
  8. This Prison

The album will be relaesed on Sophies own label Oh Dear Records.

In 2017 Sophie will release a new album. The new album will be titled "My song". After the release of the new album Sophie will also go on tour in Sweden and Germany. At this a moment a release date is not yet known.

SoulAfter a long time with no news, a few days ago news about Sophies new album has been announced.  Not much has been written about in on the main page of her official website, but in Charlies Room a lot of new items have been posted lately! 

The new album will be released on 23 nov, and will be titled Soul. If you have a facebook account you can listen to a preview of the song "Free Now" here.

For the last years Charlie (aka zuperparanoid) was webmaster of this site. he has now is own corner on the site.

Promo 86Two weeks ago the official site of Sophie annouced that a next ablum will be released on 24th of February in 2010. The new album will be titled "I'm the Rain". The albums is recorded in Sweden and Denmark. 

With this new album Sophie will also do a small tour through Germany, Switserland and ofcourse Sweden.
A bigger tour is planned later in 2010.

A few weeks after the first the rumours that Sophie wouldo a small tour in oktober, her official website-manager wrote in our forum that this tour has been cancellend. This it what he said about it:

"Sorry to disappoint you, but it doesn’t seem to be any tour thisautumn. A tour was planned, but it has been postponed for an indefiniteperiod. As soon as we get more information about a tour, it willcertainly be published on the homepage too."

And offcourse, if new dates are announced, I will post them her as well. And I hope it will be soon ;)
