I've just bought and received the two albums from Sofia Talvik, a young swedish songwriter, and it's really cool. It's not the same kind of Sophie music, this is more "easy-listening", but she's got really great songs. And a really great voice, maybe a little like Sarah Maclahan (i don't really know her, by the way).

Have to agree with those saying Bic Runga - she is absolutely awesome. I saw her 7 times on her "Birds"tour of the UK and met her a couple of times as well. She is really lovely and so humble. If you are a Sophie fan I think it would be difficult not to like Bic.
