Always Sophie

According to an article in the Swedish tabloid Expressen Sophie Zelmani is, together with other swedish singers, going to appear on an tribute Album to Leonard Cohen. The musicians on the album will be Lars Halapi and his "house band" - the article doesn't mention who the rest of the band are. The recordings will bergin next week. The album will be released 21st september, Cohen's 75th birthday.

Other singers on the album will be Jan Malmsjö, Eva Dahlgren, Mikael Wiehe, Rebecka Törnqvist, Sara Isaksson, Jenny Wilson, Moto Boy, Olle Ljungström and Bo Sundström from Bo Kaspers Orkester, which Lars Halapi has played in.

Those are great news, especially since Waiting For The Miracle is one of my favorite Leonard Cohen songs!

Thanks for the link. An ok cover.. I tend to think that in 99% of all cases the original versions by Leonard are preferable and I suppose its true in this case too.
