My review of her new CD is here:

Re: Interview with Sophie
Thanks so much Swisschris for the link and the nice interview! It's always a pleasure to read about Sophie and her songs....when listening to "This room" I also thought this song might be about a church well....now let's just think of another meaning !
By the way, here's another online interview (in German) :

....I'm really looking forward coming to Bern for her gig ! Will you be there Swisschris ? Will anyone in the forum be there as well?
Greets,

Re: Interview with Sophie
Hi Chris,
thank you so much for the great review. :)
Regarding to the interview, I think, it is one of the best I read so far. How did you manage it to get Sophie chatting so downrightly about such difficult issues like, for example, religion?
Listening to Sophie´s albums and songs I often was asking myself if she might be a religious person. Songs, for example on the album "Love Affair", like "Maja´s song", "To know you", "Dream gets clear" and many others all could be interpreted in this way. But, of course also in another way. ;) In her lyrics Sophie is often talking to a misterious "you", that could be, of course, God, but also just another important person to Sophie. Along with the great music it´s such mysteries in Sophie´s lyrics I love so much.
Now in your interview, Chris, it was the first time she talked a little bit about these things, and I´m very happy with her ansers. :)

Re: Interview with Sophie
Thank you, Rubis, for the link.
The interview stresses once again, that Sophie is a very shy person. Nevertheless she is going on tour periodically and performs her music in front of a big audience in her very own and great style.
Sadly, Rubis, I will not make it to one of her concerts this time, but I´m curiously waiting for your report from the Bern concert.

Re: Interview with Sophie
First, I have been trying to join this forum for a long time but it never seemed to work. Even now, after I had managed to register and now wanted to reply to your nice comments, Rubis and Marcus, it didn't work. So I had to re-register:-)
Thank you for your comments about my review and interview! I appreciate it very much.
I wrote my questions for Sophie in English. I still have problems writing in Swedish, but I speak and understand it quite well. So I wrote her that she could answer my questions in English or Swedish. She then answered in Swedish, that might explain that she sometimes wrote very detailed answers to my questions as she might be more comfortable answering questions about religion etc. in her own language.
I like her new album so much, I think it is going to be my favourite after "Sing and Dance".
Rubis, thank you for the link to the other interview!
I will be at her concert in Zurich and looking forward very much to it!

Re: Interview with Sophie
Hello Chris,
Really nice to read and interview about her new album. Although it is in German, I can understand the most of it.
I think that if she had to give the answers in english, the interview would become less personal. I think In english it always hard for her to express her thoughts the right way.
I copied the interview to this site as, well, I hope can agree with that?
And please let me know when you have problems again, i will try to solve them.

Re: Interview with Sophie
Anyone wants to translate those interviews into English? Please.
Re: Interview with Sophie
If you published her answers in Swedish, I could translate them into English.

Here's the google's translation:

Not perfect English, but a lot of it make sense.
