Hello Gaucho!

I don´t think that you have posted your message in the wrong board.
Welcome to this forum, Gaucho!
It´s great that Sophie, who´s music isn´t as well known as it should be, has loyal fans all over the world. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How did you discovered Sophie? I´ve read that she is quiet well known in Asia. Is that true?

Markus

Hi Gaucho,

Welcome to this forum! And I hope you can share something info about how you see Sophie and how she is doing in China.
Yes I did move your topic to this forum, but it doesn't matter. English is not my native language either, so you're not the only one who isn't that good in english.

You must kown one song of Sophie's----Going Home
This song is very beautiful.
One of the most popular Chinese female singer Faye Wang, once sang this song in her disc, surely she sang it in an Chinese lyric.

Many people in China love her song.
We created a group to discus her in QQ(It is an Instant Messenger just like ICQ) .There are about 100 members in it.
But it seems that there are no music discs of Sophie's sold in china.
So I just could got her song from the Internet.
:(

That's strange. On Ebay, I saw several ebayers (from China) who sold Sophie Zelmani CDs, check on it. May be, you can find your happyness.

  Hello,every one!I'm from China,too.
I'm happy that I can join this forum
I knowed Sophie the same way as Gaucho, and I'm alao a fan of Faye Wo(a)ng,so I decided to use faye as my name.
In fact,I'm a senior high school student now,I think I'm poor at English. It was so happy that I found this website!
I think I can communicate Sophie's music here with you,(there'ra not many people who know Sophie near me).
Hope I can get friends here, and communicate Sophie's music here with you!And I'd like to tell you about how do Chinese think about Sophie and lifestyle, culture, customs in China.

Hi Faye,

great, that you have found our forum. I think your English is quiet good. Most of us here on the forum are not native English speakers, so most of us here are searching for the right words to express ourselves.

Most of the people here in Germany (where I come from) don´t know Sophie, either. Maybe that´s because of her shyness to promote herself and the quiet kind of art she makes. She´s no typical show woman like many of her female colleagues. But I think her popularity around Europe is growing with each new album.

Hi Markus,
So happy that you replied -0-
It is true that I like Sophie's special style.Quiet, shy, and I think her voice is really clean,I love clean voice. Also,I agree that she will be known by more people in Europe.
Sometimes I thought Enhlish is useless, now,I think it is useful...-@-
And I'm really interested in European countries, they are qiute a different society from China, and maybe here can be a window for me to know the world.(It seemed that I made some grammar mistskes..-0-)
