I don't like Uno Svenningson's voice though, not a good example of the beauty of Swedish I think 

Sophie was nice to hear, even though she perhaps whispers a little too much, something she on the other hand often does

1) Swedish is an ugly language really. There are very few singers who can make it sound otherwise.


No Swedish is certainly not an ugly language, on the contrary

And I think it would have been lovely to hear Sophie sing in her native language

But since she doesn't want to, or feels it ...

If you published her answers in Swedish, I could translate them into English.

I've listened to some of this girl's songs on YouTube now, but I don't think she is so good.

The music is sort of standard radio pop/rock, and her voice is not so beautiful in my opinion.

I have two Swedish Indie bands that I really love, Broder Daniel and Blanka the latter one has a female singer.
Their music is not so tender like Sophie, instead it's more rock.

Any thoughts on the way Sophie sings?

I think over the years she has changed her singing somewhat, to more of a soft and whispering singing style.

Especially the singing on her debut album is different from her latest records.

What do you think about this?

Yes Anton Corbijn is famous and he has worked with many different musicians.

He also shot the photos for Sophie's second album Precious Burden.
