Sophie Zelmani is a singer/songwriter from Sweden. She
grew up in a suburb to Stockholm. By now she has released 5 albums. In
1995 Sophie came out of nowhere with the release of her self-entitled
debut album and soon she caught the attention of many people in Sweden
and the far east. In 1998 she released “Precious Burden”, in 1999 “Time
To Kill”, in 2002 “Sing and Dance” and in December last year her latest
album “Love Affair”. At present, as well as nine years ago, Sophie
music is country rock as simple as it can be. Voice and guitar, drums
and bass, the sound of a saxophone in a distance, the sounds of a flute or violin coming in close.
The idea to make a fan-page about Sophie came, when we discovered her
music and wanted to know more about her. But we couldn't find a real
fan-page about Sophie. Of course there is her official website and some
other sites made by fans, but those weren't that much updated.
So we decided to make our own fan-site about the singer/songwriter from Sweden.
